Originating from FreeMind Freeplan has a functionality to define and execute scripts within a map. This feature can be useful to keep scripts and maps together. But in most cases you will be rather using exernal scripts.
Script Editor
The definition part is handled by the scripting editor (Extras/Script Editor) that is accessible for every selected node.
