This page will give you all the information you need to translate Freeplane into your own language. It is quite a simple process:

  1. Download the Popeye translation tool
  2. Watch the Flash tutorial on how to make a translation file.
  3. Check the completeness of your translation file using TransCheck
  4. Open your Freeplane installation directory, create there subfolder resources/translations and put your file there. Run Freeplane and test your translation.
  5. Go to the tracker (requires Sourceforge log-in) and upload your file (the Project should be set to Translations), following the detailed instructions from TransCheck.

And you're done!
